Price Policy

The Iraqi Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (IJAIML) operates under a strict Platinum Open Access (Diamond Open Access) model. It is completely free for both authors and readers.

Because the journal is fully sponsored and published by the Office of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs at Al-Iraqia University, all financial costs associated with the publication infrastructure, peer-review management, editing, and online hosting are fully subsidized.

1. No Submission Fees (Free Submission)

Authors are not charged any fees when submitting their manuscripts to the journal. There are no administrative or pre-screening charges required to enter the double-blind peer-review workflow.

2. No Article Processing Charges (Free Publication)

Upon acceptance of a manuscript following a successful peer review, there are no Article Processing Charges (APCs), page charges, or publication fees. The processing, formatting, and electronic publication of the accepted paper are entirely free of charge.

3. Free for Readers (Open Access)

All published articles are immediately and permanently accessible online to the global scientific community without any subscription fees, paywalls, or login barriers. Anyone is free to read, download, copy, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

4. No Hidden Charges

  • Color Figure Charges: Free (No extra fees for color diagrams, flowcharts, or high-resolution architectural figures).

  • Fast-Track Review Charges: The journal enforces an objective, merit-based review process and does not accept expedited or paid fast-track review requests.

  • Corrigendum/Errata Charges: If a correction or erratum needs to be published post-publication due to a technical error, it is processed and uploaded free of charge.
